When teaching students with autism, it is sometimes difficult to figure out what is wrong when a student is not showing progress on his or her goals and objectives. In this webinar, Eden Autism Services’ Anne Holmes outlines a systematic process for assessing why a student with autism is not progressing. It may be that a student’s goals are too lofty or too basic. It may be that the student is not motivated to perform. However, it is our responsibility as educators to ensure that the learning of all of our students is maximized. Anne covers common problem areas such as motivation, attention, teaching style, and environment.
